Trey received his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Georgia and has remained an active supporter of the University since his graduation in 1982. Upon graduation, Trey moved to Griffin, Georgia, and has practiced law and has been involved with the community for a period of over 37 years. Trey retired as Solicitor General of the State Court of Spalding County on December 31, 2018 after 29 years of service and has reopened a general practice of law at the same location he has maintained since 1982. Trey's practice will emphasize the areas of criminal and DUI defense, general litigation, Wills and Estates, and personal injury. He is uniquely qualified to represent individuals in DUIs and other misdemeanor cases with his 29 years of experience as Solicitor and the contacts he has made through that experience. Trey was also appointed Municipal Court Judge for the City of Griffin on January 9, 2019 and is currently serving in that capacity.
